Premium also includes listening from the Plus Catalogue and member offers. Catalogue access ends when membership benefits end. Standard’s unused monthly selections do not roll over.
How to claim an Audible free trial on Amazon

- Check which plans and introductory offers are available to your account. The link may open a particular plan rather than show every option.
- Confirm that the checkout shows a free trial, its length, the renewal date and the price afterwards. A low-price promotion is different from a free trial.

Who is eligible?
Trial eligibility depends on membership history and the offer. Audible’s Standard help page says you can take its 30-day trial if you have not been an Audible member or used a free trial in the previous 12 months. Check Premium’s own eligibility terms instead of assuming the same rule applies.
A default payment method is required to activate a Premium trial. App-store subscriptions may have different prices and management steps, so read the terms for the route you use.
Is Audible free with Amazon Prime?
Audible is a separate subscription. Prime does not make an ongoing Audible membership free. Eligible Prime members may receive two audiobooks in their first Premium trial rather than one; confirm that benefit on the offer screen. Previous trial use can affect availability.

How to avoid an unwanted renewal
For a membership purchased directly through Amazon or Audible, use your Audible account’s membership details and follow the cancellation steps. If billed by Apple or Google, manage cancellation through that store. Deleting the app does not cancel billing.
Cancel before the trial’s renewal deadline if you do not want to pay, and keep the confirmation. Check when access ends. Use any credits you intend to redeem before cancellation, because unused membership credits can be lost. Books already bought with credits remain in your library; Standard selections and included catalogue titles do not become permanent purchases.

- Pick a book you already wanted to hear and listen to its sample first.
- Try listening during a journey, household chores or a walk to see whether it fits your routine.
- Compare the ongoing price with how many books you realistically finish.
- Check your local library’s audiobook borrowing service before taking on another subscription.
