How much does the 99p offer actually save?
Three months at the usual £5.99 would cost £17.97. Pay £2.97 instead and the membership saving is £15, or about 83%. That calculation already supports the “over 80%” claim without counting the bonus. If you wouldn’t ordinarily pay for Audible, your outlay is £2.97 rather than a £15 saving in your household budget.
What should you check about the £10 bonus?
Treat it as a separate Audible benefit. Don’t subtract £10 from the £2.97 and count the difference as money in your pocket. Before joining, read the terms shown for your account: when the bonus is issued, what it can buy and when it expires. Its value to you depends on whether there’s something you actually want to use it for.
