If there’s a series you want to watch, check whether it’s marked Included with Prime before starting the clock. Eligible UK customers can try Amazon Prime for 30 days with no membership charge. The offer includes Prime Video with limited ads and free One-Day Delivery on eligible items. It renews as a paid membership unless you cancel.

What can you watch without paying extra?
The included catalogue features films, TV series and Amazon Originals. The Prime Video storefront also sells rentals and purchases and offers extra channel subscriptions. If a title shows a rental price or asks you to start a channel trial, it’s a separate offer. Choose an included title if you want to keep the bill at £0.
How do you get the 30-day trial?
- Open the Amazon UK sign-up page and sign in. If you already have Prime, check whether you can watch the title with your existing membership.
- Look for an explicit 30-day trial at £0. Previous membership can affect eligibility. If you only see a paid plan, don’t confirm expecting a free month.
- Check the renewal price and date before accepting. Set a reminder a few days before that date.
How much is Prime after the free trial?
Amazon lists standard UK Prime at £8.99 a month or £95 a year. Check which plan your sign-up screen shows. To avoid the renewal charge, use the Prime membership settings in your Amazon account before the billing date and follow the steps until Amazon confirms the change. Check when your access ends.
Is the trial worth starting now?
Start when you actually have time to watch. If a planned order also qualifies for free One-Day Delivery to your address, that’s a useful extra. Compare the delivered price with other shops first: a £3 delivery saving doesn’t help if the item itself costs £5 more.
If you’re a higher education student or aged 18–24, compare the six-month student and young adult Prime offer before choosing the standard trial.
